Eating well doesnât just benefit your body, it also benefits your brain. So what exactly should you eat to improve your brain health? All the complex carbohydrates stabilize blood sugar levels because of their fibre and phytonutrient content, which keeps the mood and energy stable in the short term and promotes healthy brain function in the long run. Not all carbs are bad. If you choose lentils, beans and whole grains over refined carbs such as maida and potatoes, your gut and brain both will be happier.
